WOMEN PAINTERS WEST (WPW), founded in 1921, is one of Southern Californias leading non-profit art associations. We are a diverse group of over 200 professional women artists working in all mediums who share the spirit of friendship, artistic expression, education and philanthropy. Exhibitions juried by prominent leaders in the Los Angeles art world are held several times a year in museums, community, college and private galleries. Members enjoy monthly meetings featuring renowned guest speakers. Annual scholarship grants to emerging artists are also provided. Membership is by application and juried selection once a year.
