| Special Event: October 21-22: "Tarfest 2005 Festival of Film, Music & Art" TarFest is a production of the Miracle Mile Players, Inc.(MMP), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that nurtures and promotes emerging visual and performing arts. TarFest is an annual community event that introduces the public to new films, music and visual art. TarFest is conducted in collaboration with local cultural organizations, area businesses <http://www.miraclemilechamber.org> , local government and the residential community of the Miracle Mile District and greater Los Angeles. TarFest 2005 continues its explosive growth, bringing together an ever-widening range of music, art and film, with additional venue support, increased program participation, and higher quality production. This year’s programming will take place in Hancock Park at the La Brea Tar Pits <http://www.tarpits.org> , the Craft and Folk Art Museum <http://www.cafam.org> , and at Subud Los Angeles <http://www.subudusa.org/subud_houses/text/los_angeles.htm> .
