The Zeitlin Lectures feature renowned artists, art historians, critics, architects, and educators. UAM @ Noon (students can join at this level for $15) is an informal forum that includes conversations with the artists, panel discussions devoted to timely, often controversial topics, and lectures that explore the world of art. The Docent Program also invites members to volunteer in the museum's many educational activities. Five Levels of Support: • Friend -- $35/year Individuals who support the arts at CSULB and would like to become familiar with the many resources offered by the UAM, receive: • Invitations for two to members-only events • Opportunities to participate in UAM docent program • UAM exhibition announcements and museum mailings • A 10% discount on all UAM publications • Free weekend parking • Fellow -- $100/year Those community leaders who wish to make an additional commitment to the UAM and support educational programs receive these privileges in addition to the above: • A selection of UAM publications • Recognition for your support in the College of the Arts publications • Partner - $300/year A select group of connoisseurs with a special interest in being active participants in the museum's many programs who assist with acquisitions and receive these privileges in addition to the above: • Opportunities to attend private tours, events and artists' studios • Year-round priority parking (with 24-hour notice) • Contemporary Council - $500/year Members who support the museum's diverse programs through contributing at a level which exemplifies their special commitment and receive, in addition to the above: • Opportunity to participate in the UAM international travel program • Opportunity to participate in the acquisition of new works of art for the permanent collection if you designate 40% of your annual dues to be placed in the acquisition fund, enabling UAM to grow its collection • Benefactor - $1,000/year Individuals who recognize visual arts education as a vital aspect of a quality university and want to make a contribution to ensure the continuation of the museum's many scholarly programs, receive these privileges in addition to the above: • All UAM publications • Complimentary tickets to lectures and symposia • Opportunities to participate in unique UAM programs and special events at an intimate level with the director of the museum guest artists, and noted speakers.
