Gallery Description:
A non-profit arts orgainzation supporting Southern California artists, with an emphasis on emerging talent. Focus on contemporary issues. Monthly exhibitions, video screenings, lectures, workshops and opportunitities for the public to interface with artists and other members of the arts community.

Showing:
Through June 13: “Out There”, celebrating the LGBT experience during West Hollywood’s Pride Month festivities; juror, Cliff Benjamin.
June 21-July 18: “Accessorize”, to embellish, to assert ornamentation, to combine surface and substance, material and meaning, in artful obsession. Juror, Peggy Fogelman. Solo shows--Danice Siegel, “Finger Tales”, finger puppets using the conventions of portrait photography. Barbara Blatt, “Seeds of Light”, beads with glue. Arlene Bogna, “Safari Americana: Scenes of Delight”, photographs that experient with process and animal imagery.
August 23-29: LA Art Association is proud to partner with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation on “Equity for all Artists”, a special exhibition featuring works by emerging artists with paralysis and spinal cord injury.

Special Event:
August 2, 6-9pm: Shelley Reid and Susan Woods present “@”, a special auction to benefit LAAA.
