Showing: Ongoing: Ventura Municipal Art Collection documents the history of visual art in Ventura County through the exhibit of work by leading area artists. New acquisitions include works by Parmlee Gomez, Hanna Lore Hombordy, Dorothy Hunter, Ellis Jump, Bill McEnroe, Debra McKillop, Tom McMillin, Chloe Murdock, Richard Phelps, Teal Rowe, and Helle Scharling-Todd. This growing collection features works from 59 artists, including works by John Nava, Jessie Arms Botke, and Beatrice Woods. Special Events: A quarterly Art Walk is fatured in Ventura’s Downtown Cultural District. Enjoy 150 Southern California artists showing works at more than 60 gallery-for-day venues. Followed by the“Art Walk After Party” at the Crowne Plaza Aqua Bar, an eclectic mix of modern art, music, and film. Watch for dates of the next Art Walk; see http://www.venturaartwalk.org.
