These films have been viewed in exhibitions (including:Museum of Modern Art and The
Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Atlanta, Georgia; the Hirshhorn Museum,
Washington, DC) and festivals internationally including Venice, Italy; Edinborough;
Mannheim and Oberhausen, Germany. He has won five Golden Eagle Awards, the coveted
Jean Vigo Award in France and, in 1992, the National Film Board of Canada's Norman
McLaren Heritage Award and a grant from the American Film Institute.
