Jeanne Willette is the second in the 25th season theme of "The Visual Epiphany." She tells about being an artist who was advised, because of her intellectual concerns, to become an art historian. But a part-time art history job at Claremont Graduate School reminded her of her artist-inclinations. This dilemma finally culminated during a stay in Germany and visits to concentration camps, which made her decide to produce her own writing as an art form. Being an art historian in the company of artists gives Willette energy for her performance art and text objects.
