Hoffberg drives home the point that L.A.'s art world doesn't shut down during the Summer season, and not only because of the L.A. International. She is one of a group of curators responsible for the Side Street Projects'-produced "6 Degrees", not only a gallery exhibition but a series of artist projects at 14 local libraries that we are happy to tout. Then there is the Barnsdall Art Park's "Target Hollywood", in which over twenty local businesses become exhibition venues for the Summer. Get the idea?. . . art takes to the streets, with encounters awash throughout the city.
