"Castaway" is Tim Ebner's title for a group of charcoal drawings that are studies for paintings. Drawn from animal masks purchased in costume and magic stores on Hollywood Blvd., they are painted as portraits or arranged as still lives. Masks reveal the hidden emotions and truths they are meant to disguise with simplicity and humor.

We will also be showing "The Flotilla" by Pierre Picot. It is the result of his discovery of and fascination with a little wooden boat made by an 8 year old boy in Berkeley. Instinct, obsession, and craft, in no specific order, have come together in a group of mixed media works hovering around ideas of confusion, idealism, regimentation and glee.

ANDLAB shows work by contemporary artists in its gallery. It acts as a forum for the presentation of ideas through its range of lectures, concerts, and discussions. ANDLAB, in its mission to foster curiosity and knowledge, offers a variety of educational opportunities and creative developments through its selection of art and design classes and projects.
