As a publishing house and gallery SCALO is a switch-lever in communication between author and public. SCALO|GUYE brings together different tribes of people who pursue and explore issues of burning interest today.
The artists featured in this show are portraying their tribeseither tribes in the ethnological sense of the word like the works by Nigerian photographer J. D. ‘Okhai Ojeikere, or Mali photographers Seydou Keïta and Malick Sidibé, or in the contemporary urban sense of the word like the work by David Armstrong, Olaf Breuning, Elinor Carucci, and Nan Goldin.
