George Stern Fine Arts is proud to announce the opening of our exhibition SMALL GEMS, a survey of important works by early Californian Impressionists and Modernists.  This outstanding exhibition will feature a sampling of paintings by the California masters each measuring no larger than sixteen by twenty inches.  The exhibit will include works by the following artists: Franz A. Bischoff, Elizabeth Borglum, Maurice Braun, Conrad Buff, Roi Clarkson Colman, Colin Campbell Cooper, Paul de Longpre, Raoul de Longpre, Paul Dougherty, John Frost, William Gaw, Selden Gile, Grigory Gluckmann, Percy Gray, Sam Hyde Harris, Anna Hills, W. F. Jackson, Emil Kosa, Jr., Jean Mannheim, Francis McComas,  Edgar Payne, Hanson Puthuff, William Ritschel, Arthur Dominique Rozaire, Millard Sheets, Dedrick Stuber, James Guilford Swinnerton, William Wendt, Karl Yens, and others.

George Stern Fine Arts is located at 8920 Melrose Avenue, in West Hollywood.  Gallery hours are 10am to 6pm Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 6pm on Saturday, and Monday by appointment.  The reception will be on Saturday, June 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in conjunction with the West Hollywood Eighth Annual Art & Design Walk.  Private parking is available behind the gallery.  For directions please call (310) 276-2600.  Contact: Jennifer Gunlock.
