Dwellings is the artist’s debut exhibition with SCALO|GUYE and the first international showing of his work. James Nizam’s most recent series of photographs, Dwellings, takes up a nocturnal investigation of abandoned domestic spaces just prior to demolition. Illuminated by flashlight, and lending an otherworldly feel, these images register as spectacular and perturbed.
