A Shenere Velt Gallery is proud to announce a exhibition of new works by Dwora Fried.
"My collages blur boundaries between reality and imagination, photography and painting. The boxes attempt to capture that seamlessness in a fixed moment trapped in rooms behind glass," says Dwora.
"Representations of entrapment, voyeurism and spectacle are built into working with boxes. Each piece provides a glimpse into the colorful inner-workings of a system, large or small, narrative or nonsensical. This exhibit is a collection of climates, where even the most liberated are confined."
