i-5 Gallery is pleased to announce two exciting exhibitions of contemporary Los Angeles art opening FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9 (7-10 pm)
These exhibitions run from February 3 – 24, 2007
1. Midnight Ridazz 3rd Anniversary Art Show and East L.A. Bike Ride
The Midnight Ridazz is a group of bicycle enthusiasts who have been riding together on the second Friday of every month since February of 2004. The rides quickly grew from the original 8 members to current ride counts of 1300+ Ridazz. Their "party on Wheels" is free for sympathetic activists and artists to join. This show is organized by Crystal Moore and curated by Stephanie Mercado
The Midnight Ridazz are hosting their East L.A. Bike Ride immediately following the core hours of the February 9th event – the bikes leave to explore L.A. at 9:30 p.m.
2. INSTA-SHOW - Seven Los Angeles Artists
Insta-Show is artist Stephanie Mercado’s curatorial debut. Her goal was to mix artists of different generations and media to create an exciting pastiche approximating the pulse of the Southern California Art Scene.
